Donald Holwill dancing (at last)!!!

After many months of failed attempts by various students to get our tutor Donald Holwill to dance, Andy finally managed to do the impossible...
That's right! With a bit of motivation from Hazel, Andy eventually succeeded in capturing rare video footage of Donald doing a once-in-a-lifetime dance for your viewing pleasure!!!

Did Donald let us down?

We 4th Years and a few PGs took a gander along to Alison House yesterday to meet Sound Designer folks, but Andy thinks that Donald has let us down. Let me explain:
In an e-mail dated Wed 1/14/2009 1:13 PM, Donald Holwill wrote "Why don't we meet in the Animation Department at 3.45pm and all go along in a big bunch, singing songs and dancing?". I sent a reply stating "with all that singing and dancing it sounds like we'll have a Grand Day Out! (You better not disappoint us now Donald)". To which Donald replied "Not sure what number I'll do tomorrow, but rest assured, I'll do it My Way... In the meantime, I just want to perfect this tricky tango chasse move before tomorrow".

Now I don't know about everyone else, but myself and Nicole were truly looking forward to seeing Donald and his sexy Tango steps. However when it came to 3:45 Donald failed to strut his stuff. So with my best impression of old Brucey I interviewed The Don about his lack of dancing and suggested that he enter Strictly Come Dancing next year. Unfortunately The Don thinks that he would be treated like John Sergeant - which in his mind is a bad thing... So to prove him right or wrong, please answer my awesome poll question on the right.

So...

It is 5am, the sun is nowhere near rising, and it's super cold and frosty outside. I have been trying to finish my essay and portfolio for the last 17 hours now, and at some point later this morning I have to go into Edinburgerland to hear the little 3rd Years pitching their little stings (which is happening WAY to early this year)!!! I'm just pondering whether it's worth going to bed, or if I should just start driving now...

My Banter!

Ok dudes! Here I am. Hope you all had a kickass Christmas. Mine was good - especially getting nightmare before Xmas and Tales from Earthsea amongst other great films. In terms of my film I really haven't done much over this holiday 'cause I've been powering through my dissertation and trying to have a bit of a holiday amongst it all, but I'll get some work up here soon. Gonna re-hash my animatic now that I have the final vocals recorded and I'm gonna fill out all my dopesheet stuff as I go along so I can start lip-syncing :S . Getting nervous about next year already, but I'm sure all will go fine.
